Bachelor’s degrees in nursing and healthcare administration from the University of Michigan-Flint. Master’s degree in nursing from Duke University and doctorate in nursing from Azusa Pacific University. Her research explores culture, gender, ethnicity, and faith community-based approaches to addressing mental illness.
