OUR APPROACH

Improving the health of our communities requires multiple approaches.

We inspire and engage the community and faith-based organizations to work together, so our work can impact far more communities than we can reach alone.

The FAITH Network supports scientific faith-based research, as well as provides resources, educational training, and mentorship to faith communities across Arkansas regardless of geographic location, race/ethnicity, religious beliefs, socioeconomic status or congregation size.

Research

The FAITH Network commits to increasing the participation and partnership of communities of faith in health related comparative effectiveness research (CER) and patient- centered outcomes research (PCOR) by providing continuous training opportunities specific to the needs of the faith community. Such opportunities connect members of the faith community to researchers locally and nationwide.

Educational Outreach

We serve as a hub of educational resources for any faith community interested in improving the health of their congregation and community. We provide access to evidence-based health promotion and education programs to communities of faith. Our conferences and summits bring researchers, students, community organizations, community members and faith leaders together to learn from each other as we work together to improve health in our communities.

Unity

Our partnerships pledge and advance our mission by engaging our greatest asset—our community. We partner with and work alongside organizations, regardless of religious affiliation, that share our ultimate goal of improving health for underserved communities in Arkansas.
